Dr. McGlone has been focusing on complex and challenging contact lens cases since his graduation from the optometry school at the University of California, Berkeley in 1990. He traveled from the Mecca of university based contact lens research to become a partner in Manhattan's leading contact lens practice. Following his family to the Washington, DC area, Dr. McGlone worked for one of the Capital's preeminent ophthalmologic groups. His responsibility was once again complex contact lenses, predominately pre and post-surgical contact lens fittings.

Throughout his career Dr. McGlone has participated in numerous contact lens studies including but not limited to FDA trials, marketing trials and other research studies. Dr. McGlone has been on the faculty of several conferences and was selected from amongst all the Berkeley students in his class to teach at the first American style optometry school in Madras, India.

Dr. McGlone is excited to inaugurate the optical section of our practice: New Jersey EyeCare, concentrating on primary eye health examinations,eyeglass examinations and dispensing.

Dr. McGlone lives in Basking Ridge with his wife and two children. They enjoy bicycle riding, skiing and cooking.
